About Us

At Lakeside Lutheran we welcome all to come worship our Savior in a loving, friendly, comfortable atmosphere. No matter who you are or where you’re from, whether you are visiting, seasonal or a permanent Floridian, we are here to share the joy of Jesus with you. Our church has been in Venice since 1954. Was there a lake back in the day ("Lakeside")? Yes, but it was filled in years ago, and the name remains. Each week we worship with full members, associate members (people who have a "home church" elsewhere), and people who casually attend or visit. At Lakeside, through services and bible studies, we hope and pray the Holy Spirit equips and refreshes you to go into the world inspired and energized to bring kindness, love and compassion to others -- to "be Jesus" in the lives of other people, especially those who need to hear good news. Lakeside Lutheran Church is a member of the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod (LCMS). Come to visit us for our Service on Sunday morning at 9am or 10:30 am, be certain you will feel welcomed.
