About Us

Ben Bronz Academy in West Hartford, Connecticut, is a full-day state-approved private special education school for children in grades 2-12 who struggle to learn. Our students struggle with various learning disabilities. Some of these disabilities include: Attention-Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Central Auditory Processing Disorder (CAPD), Dyslexia (reading disability), Dysgraphia (writing disability), Executive Function Disorder (EFD), and Autistic Spectrum Disorders (mild/Asperger’s). The goal of Ben Bronz Academy is to help students with learning disabilities learn to identify and correct their functional weaknesses and to develop strong, spontaneous thinking habits that build self-confidence and foster greater curiosity and enthusiasm for learning. We provide children with substantial learning disabilities an individualized learning program that enables them to master lifelong learning skills, achieve academic success and enhance their self-confidence.
