"Style comes from within. I love helping everyone feel good. Body image is everything. Society Beach is a tribute to my mother whom I lost two years ago to metastatic breast cancer. She taught me how to get dressed and embrace my body. I'm a life long third generation Surf City girl. The store will combine my happy place with my love for style. I look forward to a fabulous summer at the beach... SOCIETY BEACH". -Mary Alice Farella, Owner Mary Alice Farella started the Society Style brand with her men’s store in 2006. After the success of Society Men, she followed with Society Women in 2013. Both stores became staples of Westwood, NJ and consistent winners of the Best of Bergen award. Mary Alice opened her LBI location, Society Beach, in June 2019. Like her sister and brother stores, Society Beach is the ultimate shopping destination for men and women on Long Beach Island.
