Sweater weather season is here! The temps in Kansas City have been just right for soft layers with not too much bulk; it's the perfect time to show off those fall sweater styles! If you are like me, you love the coziest and warmest ones! This season I have noticed a few top styles and I have been loving them all.
This soft color block one is an ultimate favorite of mine. I absolutely love the color combination and relaxed, oversized fit. I also like that this style can be dressed up or down so easily with a change of shoes from boots to pumps. Take your sweaters from day to night with a blazer paired over them for a more dressed up look or add a dressy scarf and clutch.
Three Sweater Trends You Need this Fall:
Color Block
Color block sweaters are everywhere right now! They add just the right amount of color and pattern to any look and are great pieces for layering with jackets.
Argyle
Argyle is a signature preppy style! It's a throwback to the early 90's and it's back in a major way! Think Cher from Clueless, but a little more toned down. I've seen it on vests, jackets, and sweaters this season.
Fair Isle
Fair Isle sweaters were probably the most seen knitwear trend on the NYFW runways this season. These styles aren't just for the Holidays!
Style them with your favorite fall boots and jeans for a sophisticated layered look!
