If you like craft beer, custom-made cider, award-winning wines, or handcrafted distilled spirits, you don’t have far to go to satisfy your craving. The Richmond West Beverage Trail is at your doorstep and boasts 11 separate venues to explore.
“If you're itching to roll down the car windows, breathe in some pure country air, take a hike or float down the James, and then top off your day with a few libations, then there really is no better place,” said Eric Cioffi, head of the executive committee for the Trail.
Established in 2016, the Trail is a collaboration among the independent craft beverage producers in Goochland and Powhatan counties, promoting the industry and welcoming local visitors and tourists into the scenic heart of Virginia between Richmond and Charlottesville.
