These are some bizarre times we are navigating friends. On top of homeschooling kiddos, last month we were packing up our house and moving across town. I kept seeing adorable front porch mini-sessions popping up in my feed, so now that things are slowly opening back up here in the KC area, we decided to hop on the bandwagon. I'm so glad we we will have these fun photos to look back on. Not to mention they're the first official photos in front of our new house!
When I saw that Theresa Mitchell and photographer Katy Johns were using the mini-sessions to raise money for Theresa's campaign for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society - MidAmerica Chapter, I knew I wanted to participate. (While unfortunately there aren't any more openings, you can still donate here!)
I know some people really like staged photos where everyone's looking and everyone's smiling. Me? I've learned my lesson - probably the hard way. This time, I let them run the show, even if I had to bribe my youngest with cookies.
