Clean Beauty Favorites: Farmacy

As someone who’s tried every single product from Farmacy Beauty, I thought this post was perfect for anyone browsing the web and wanting to try out some Farmacy products during this quarantine period! If you're not familiar with Farmacy Beauty, they're a clean skincare brand where all products are free of parabens, formaldehyde donor, synthetic fragrance, phthalate, mineral oil and also cruelty-free.

I’ve picked out the top five products I’ve continued to repurchase and use for almost two years now. Here are my Farmacy favorites!

Green Clean

My holy grail product and a product I keep purchasing over and over again. It’s just one of those! Green Clean is the first product that got me to start using cleansing balms again. This makeup remover does an amazing job melting away all the makeup and always leaves my face feeling fresh, clean and hydrated. Some key ingredients include sunflower and ginger root oils—both are gentle and effective to remove even the toughest waterproof makeup on my eyes without irritation or stinging. The perfect way to describe the texture is that it’s like a sorbet. Did I mention the smell? It smells amazing too!

Very Cherry Bright

If you follow me on Instagram, it’s very obvious I’m a huge a serum person. A clear, lightweight serum with a slight pink/red hue, this is a 15% vitamin C serum packed with Acerola cherry and hyaluronic acid. Unlike some vitamin C serums, it’s extremely gentle to use with other products and non-irritating for all skin types. What I love the most about this serum is that it’s very hydrating and almost feels like a hyaluronic acid serum on my face—definitely not your typical vitamin C serum.

Honey Potion

One of the most unique masks I’ve tried. This is a warming mask packed with antioxidants that always gives me a spa experience in 10-15 minutes. The yellow blend (honey, propolis and royal jelly) turns into a white cream when in contact with the face. I also love the magnetic spatula that comes with the mask. Crystall’s tip: It does warm up, so you might want to test it out on a small area on your neck or arm if you are sensitive.

Honeymoon Glow

The Honeymoon Glow is a resurfacing night serum, aka an exfoliating serum. Specifically, it contains 14% AHA/BHA/gentle flower acids to shed off the dead skin cells, promote cell renewal, reduce the appearance of pores, and also helps clarify the skin. If you’re new to an exfoliating serum, you may feel some stinging, which is completely normal. I use it 2-3 times a week depending on how congested my skin feels. One thing for sure is that you will wake up the next morning with super soft skin!

Bright On

If you have oily or combination skin, you will definitely benefit from using a clay mask. This one’s a color-changing vitamin C clay mask that’s made of kaolin and bentonite clay. As the vitamin C capsules in the mask burst, the color changes from lavender to green. The mask also helps detox the skin by removing all the buildup and reducing the appearance of pores.

Out of all the Farmacy products I’ve tried, the above are my top favorites and ones that I feel confident recommending to others. If you haven’t tried their products and you’re still doing some research, hope this helps!
