This year I really wanted to try to mix things up a bit and wear more feminine and girly skirts on a daily basis. I recently tried these two styles and was shockingly surprised at how easy it was to wear both!
Wrap It Up
No matter what size or shape you are, a wrap skirt is definitely going to be your best friend. Any form fitting skirt in my opinion looks better on any type of body shape. It’s always better to emphasize any curves that you have rather than to hide them. Even if you lack any curves … like me … a skirt that fits well will give you more of a defined shape and silhouette.
Wrap skirts are super easy to adjust the fit to your body type too. I like to pull mine up just a tad so it sits right below my belly button to give it that high waisted look.
I found this adorable gingham print one at Nordstrom Rack. It’s got an actual functional front tie and the length is office appropriate as well. Throw on a cardigan for a work outfit or a jean jacket for a casual weekend look. I wore this look with a black V-neck bodysuit and pair of comfy white pointy toe mules.
Pink and Flirty
This sweet little pink skirt is such a fun and girly piece I love to wear on repeat. I love this outfit because it’s a great daily casual piece that you can style with things that you already own in your closet! I wore it here with a lightweight, white short-sleeved blouse.
I also love tucking in band tees or tank tops with sweet little flirty skirts like this one. Keeping the look casual with a simple pair of white tennis shoes for a cute look for the girl-on-the-go!
