SEAN LEE

Restoration Fitness, Lake Zurich

INSPIRING OTHERS

It was a personal health crisis as a young man that put Sean Lee on the path to inspiring others to lead a healthier lifestyle. His business is not the typical gym. Instead, Sean and his team work closely with a limited number of clients to help achieve measurable results. Through small group sessions in an expertly outfitted space on Rand Road (between Costco and Walmart) each client is put through guided training sessions in an upbeat and fun atmosphere. To cope with the COVID-19 crisis, Restoration Fitness added online classes and counseling. Better fitness is not the only outcome; lasting bonds and friendships are forged (RestorationFitness.com).

A 2020 BEST OF SW LAKE AWARD IS PRESENTED FOR:

  • The number of years and superior level of service provided to clients seeking healthier lifestyles.
  • Support to the community through fundraising efforts for the Jeffrey Pride Foundation to raise funds for pediatric cancer research.
  • Experience as an author, speaker and innovator who helps others become their best selves.

TIM MEADE

FAMILY BUSINESS LEADERSHIP

In 2019 after years running his two businesses in Lake Barrington (RIGShowerDoors.com and AGSChicago.com), Tim Meade took on the challenge of purchasing property in Wauconda to relocate this business. It was quite a project. The facility previously housed a carpet company and needed a major overhaul. Now the building sparkles with the addition of a third business – a Kohler Showroom – that focuses on a variety of bathroom styles and products. This is a family business that involves Tim’s wife, two sons and daughter-in-law, and many long-term employees. There is also the family dog and occasional visits from grandchildren.

A 2020 BEST OF SW LAKE AWARD IS PRESENTED FOR:

  • Taking the risk to relocate to Rand & Bonner Roads and debut a new showroom that showcases products and services in home improvement.

TIM SIEFERT

A jeweler since 1985, Tim is an award-winning Goldsmith and Platinumsmith who specializes in the design and craftsmanship of one-of-a-kind pieces. He does not shy away from the exceptional. Quite the opposite, in fact, as Tim is especially passionate about non-symmetrical designs and those with unusual colors and textures. He excels at transforming unused jewelry into stunning new designs destined to be family heirlooms.
