Local love includes locally sourced goodness at Brick Farm Tavern and Market. To help complete the experience, the Tavern offers real farm-to-table fine dining in a restored 1820s farmhouse.
Located at 130 Hopewell Rocky Hill Road (Route 518), it was opened in 2015 by Robin and Jon McConaughy, who also own Double Brook Farm. They are founders and partners of the Brick Farm Market in Hopewell, too. The Tavern is under the guidance of owner/operation directors Otto and Maria Zizak.
The Double Brook Farm staff in Hopewell raises pork, lamb, chicken, turkey, goats, cattle and ducks. Brick Farm Market is the exclusive retailer of Double Brook Farm. The McConaughys say all of their ruminants are pasture raised on 100% grass, and their poultry and pigs are pasture-raised with locally grown feed.
For Valentine's Day, the Tavern's team is offering a prix-fixe dinner featuring an exclusive menu, which is only be provided on Valentine’s Day. They are slated to offer two optional wine pairings for this menu, as well.
Otto, Brick Farm Group managing director, says they plan to have flowers for sale on-site, too.
Tucked inside this historic house are several special enclaves, perfect for hosting private events, from holiday parties to milestone celebrations. The Chef’s Table offers a front-row view to the bustling kitchen, and the wine cellar’s cozy ambiance invites festive gatherings.
