When Erin Gordon was away at school she discovered a wonderful bakery called Nothing Bundt Cakes. She was excited to share this jewel of a bakery with her mother, Christie, when she came for a visit. A stop at the bakery and a movie quickly became the tradition of their visits. Later after graduating and moving back to the valley, Erin convinced her parents to look into opening a Nothing Bundt Cakes Franchise. As they began doing the initial research and planning they were thrilled to discover the company’s strong values matched their own.
The franchise requirements are strict and the application process was rigorous, but that didn’t stop this dynamic mother and daughter duo from chasing their dream and bringing Nothing Bundt Cakes to our beautiful valley. At first, headquarters wasn’t interested in this location, but Erin and Chrisie were able to persuade them, in part because of their love for our community. They were able to overcome each hurdle and officially opened their doors last October. They are thrilled each and every day to be celebrating life with people from all over our community.
Erin and Christie are hugely passionate about our community. As they were opening last fall, they enjoyed dropping off cakes to show their thanks to our first responders, our local hospitals, and our schools. Nothing Bundt Cakes hosts Give Back Days once a month where a portion of the proceeds go to various organizations. They are able to partner with schools and organizations for fundraisers, and they even have a Books & Bundts program to encourage elementary students to read more.
