Looking for a casual, friendly place to grab drinks with a friend? Three Crosses Distilling is a perfect choice. Nestled in Powhatan village, the gastropub is laid-back with a welcoming front porch and two outdoor areas to accommodate your furry friends. Husband and wife team, John and Michelle Davenport, turned their captivation with distilled spirits into the first legal distillery in Powhatan. Michelle shared some drink, food, and fun happenings with Midlothian Lifestyle.

What is the most requested item off the drink menu?

The most requested cocktail is our Smoked Old Fashioned with Black Walnut Bitters. The cocktail menu changes every season, so there is always something new!

What type of food is available at Three Crosses?

Our restaurant, The Table at Three Crosses, provides upscale bar food that changes seasonally.  Some tasty items on our menu include Loaded Sidewinder Fries, P-Town Gobbler, and Hot Honey Chicken Po Boy.

What was the Naming of the Barstools?

In response to customer feedback, we decided to upgrade to better, more comfortable stools. To help cover the cost, we held a raffle. Each of the six winners will have their name and a quote of their choice placed on a plaque, adhered to the back of the stool.

How do Three Crosses support their community?

We host Fundraiser Thursdays where a portion of all sales go to a select charity, like Powhatan Lacrosse and Powhatan Animal Control. John Davenport is an Army Veteran, and we love to support men and women in uniform and the charities that advocate for them.
