If you like Sacramento's favorite restaurant on the river, Crawdads on the River, you're going to love Folsom's new restaurant, Crawdads on the Lake. A new local hotspot is in town, replacing the long-lived Cliff House and bringing a fresh perspective to one of the best views in Folsom.
Crawdads on the Lake is a new addition to the Folsom food scene that Trevor Shults, who co-owns the Crawdads brand with Todd Zancaner, is excited to be a part of. After a long search for a second location, they finally chose this scenic spot in the heart of Folsom. For Shults, he said this move was sentimental, having fond memories of going
to Cliff House and growing up in the area. “It just has such good ties to the community,” Shults said, “I just couldn’t pass it up.”
The owners of the new location are hyping up residents to come by and check out the view, after all, they love to say it’s “on the house”. Shults said they've expanded the deck and built a new bar in the center of the restaurant, to further ensure visitors will have great food, drinks, music, and views.
In addition to remodeling the restaurant, their menu has been revamped as well with four to five of their existing items newly modified. At Crawdads on the Lake, you’ll see menu items like their Chowder Fries, Thai Kale Salad, and Mussels with Chorizo. Don’t forget to attend one of the restaurant’s many live music events hosted this summer, and bring your families with you to this family-friendly establishment. Come by and cool down from the summer heat at one of Folsom’s newest local gems. CrawdadsontheLake.com
