One of my favorite places to take Hampton this summer has been Deanna Rose Farmstead. It’s an inexpensive two hours of fun that we can all enjoy as a family together.
The highlight of the trip is always feeding the baby goats, and it’s so fun to see Hampton’s expressions as he gets to see and pet the different animals on the farm. Their playgrounds, horse drawn hayrides and fishing in the pond are so fun for the kids too.
We ended our Sunday with ice cream from one of our favorite local spots: Betty Rae’s. We were lucky enough to go when there wasn’t a line, which doesn’t happen very often!
Tip: Try the flavor “cereal milk”—it’s a family favorite!
