Every Dollar Advances the Fight Against Alzheimer's

And All Other Forms of Dementia

The number of Americans living with Alzheimer's is growing — and growing fast. More than six million Americans of all ages have Alzheimer's. With that number estimated to nearly triple by the year 2050, the Alzheimer’s Association works diligently to serve the 180,000 North Carolina residents living with the disease and the 356,000 family and friends who provide care to them.

The Alzheimer's Association leads the way to end Alzheimer's and all other forms of dementia — by accelerating global research, driving risk reduction and early detection and maximizing quality care and support. The Association provides individual and family services, information and referral, education, support and advocacy across North Carolina.

The Alzheimer’s Association…

…provides care and support to all those facing Alzheimer’s.
…educates and raises awareness to grow understanding of the disease.
…drives research toward treatment, prevention and ultimately, a cure.
…advocates to improve the lives of all those affected by Alzheimer’s and dementia.

Alzheimer's disease is a global crisis with significant local impact. The Alzheimer's Association needs the community's help to rally around the Alzheimer’s cause, and ultimately, the fight to end Alzheimer’s.
