Our Top 6 Holiday Cocktails

Holiday meals shared with family and carefully paired with wine is tried and true. This year, for a multitude of reasons, we felt it was time to kick that up a notch or two with 6 of our favorite holiday cocktails that will be sure to imbibe your thankfulness and holiday cheer.

The Festive Reindeer

Ingredients:

• 1.5oz Ketel One Botanical Cucumber Vodka
• .5oz of Rose’ Vodka
• .5oz Aperol
• .75oz simple syrup
• .5oz fresh lemon juice
• Rose petals (garnish)

Method:

Shake (and then shake some more) all ingredients in ice-cube filled shaker and pour in champagne flute. Top with whipped cream and rose petal garnish..

Egg New Nog

Ingredients:

• 1 whole egg
• 1oz heavy cream
• .5oz maple syrup
• .25oz St. Elizabeth Allspice Dram Liqueur
• 1.5oz Hennessy VS Cognac
• Freshly grated nutmeg (garnish)

Method:

Combine all ingredients into shaker without ice and shake. Add ice to shaker and let sit to chill. Shake and strain into chilled glass and garnish with freshly grated nutmeg.

Hot Winter's Night

Ingredients:

• 1oz Buffalo Trace Bourbon
• .5oz Aperol
• .5oz Amaro Montenegro Liqueur
• .5oz lemon juice
• .75oz simple syrup
• 3oz Black Tea (to top)
• Cinnamon Stick (garnish)

Method:

Combine all ingredients, except tea, in metal shaker. Place shaker in bowl with hot water and stir ingredients to combine and warm. Pour into mug and top with hot tea. Garnish with cinnamon stick.

Santa’s Mark

Ingredients:

• 1.5oz Makers Mark 46
• .25oz Oloroso Sherry
• .25oz Benedictine
• Orange peel (garnish)

Method:

Stir all ingredients over ice. Strain into glass and garnish with orange peel.

The Sleigh Captain

Ingredients:

• 1.5oz Captain Morgan Rum
• .75oz lemon juice
• .75oz simple syrup
• 1 strawberry
• Cranberry (garnish)
• Mint sprig (garnish)

Method:

Muddle strawberry in bottom of shaker. Add ice and all ingredients. Shake and strain into martini glass. Garnish with cranberry and mint sprig.

Holiday Margarita

Ingredients:

• 1.5oz Patron Silver Tequila
• 2oz cranberry juice
• 1oz fresh squeezed lime juice
• .5oz Cointreau
• .25oz agave syrup
• Fresh cranberries (garnish)
• Lime wedge (garnish)

Method:

Combine all ingredients in ice filled shaker and shake until outside of shaker in frosty. Pour into salt rimmed glass over fresh ice cubes. Garnish with cranberries and lime wedge.
