Herbal tea is an infusion or blend of leaves, fruits, bark, roots, or flowers of an edible plant. Drinking herbal tea allows you to reap all of the plant’s benefits in a form that is easy to digest.

They can be enjoyed for a variety of reasons, including relaxation, soothing your stomach, and even fighting inflammation. The polyphenols in herbal teas load them up with antioxidants that may benefit your body in several ways. 

Chamomile

Bittersweet, honey-like taste

Chamomile's antispasmodic properties support digestion. Due to high amounts of antioxidants, chamomile can help boost your immunity and fight bacteria. It is also known to calm the parasympathetic nervous system and reduces your body’s stress and tension.

Lemongrass

Mildly sweet, citrus taste

Lemongrass is known for its removing properties, so some believe it helps the body rid itself of cholesterol, toxins, fats, and uric acid, which help lower blood pressure. It is loaded with vitamins A and C, so it is also great for the health of your skin and hair.

Sweet Violet
