As a cancer survivor, Mrs. P knows all too well that every day is a gift. She also knows calling a professional to organize her closets was a gift—to her family and especially to herself. The family has called on The Closet Works Inc. several times since 2004 to organize their closets as they moved to larger homes to accommodate their growing family. Six and a half years ago, Mrs. P. was diagnosed with invasive breast cancer and went through chemotherapy and a multitude of surgeries.
“Being organized became very important for my husband and myself, so things would be easy to find and reach,” she says. “I decided to invest in our closets because in this new phase of life I needed a space for meditation and self-care. I cannot believe how my closet has been transformed. I can spend time there for yoga, meditation or to get ready for a special occasion. When there are days that I cannot get up without pain, my kids come in and hang out to have time with me.“
The entire project, 14 closets in all, would never have happened without The Closet Works and its amazing staff members, designer Jennifer Molinelli and installation manager Paul Rumer.
“When there were things that came up that needed to be fixed because I misunderstood what was happening, they took care of it,” Mrs. P continues, “The staff members who did the installation were prompt, courteous, professional, quick and clean. Many companies claim to have ‘personal service,’ but very few actually deliver it. I can honestly say The Closet Works is such a company."
Three Tips for Hiring the Perfect Closet Organizer
Design with Intention
Each room serves a distinct purpose and has its own color and style. Tour each space with the professional and discuss how it’s used, what’s working and what’s not working.
Tell Your Story
You have a unique story and dilemma. Share why you want the project done and what’s going on in your life that prompted you to call for professional help.
Take Your Time
Visit the showroom so you can choose colors, hardware, accessories or cabinet styles. Ask the professional to provide you with samples so you can see them in your home and explore options for different arrangements in your design.
