Pain, stress, focus, weight loss and discomfort? Heat up and relax!
Regardless of who you are, chances are you have symptoms relating to one or all of the above. Do you know there are enjoyable easy alternatives to medication and / or just dealing with it?
Our bodies are the perfect machine and have the ability to correct many of these issues if put in the right environment. This means that yes, eating healthy, daily movement or exercise and not smoking is very important and leads to a healthy happy life. There are other things you can incorporate into your life that are easy, enjoyable and relatively affordable. One of these is infrared sauna.
Full spectrum infrared sauna uses wavelengths of light to heat the body at the core, not by heating the room. Infrared light is a part of the sun’s spectrum and it can penetrate to the core of the body producing the soothing, warm, nourishing feeling we get from sitting in the sun. The healing part of this is the detoxification that occurs from producing a rise in core temperature and sweat at the cellular level where most of our toxins exist. The ideal temperature for infrared sauna is between 100°F- 130°F, making it comfortable for people who cannot tolerate a high temperature in a regular sauna.
The benefits begin after the first session. Relaxation is immediate and often pain reduction is as well. For long-term benefits, visiting one to three times a week is recommended. At Healing Moments upon arriving for your session, clients are given a glass of hydrogen and antioxidant rich, restructured alkaline water to drink immediately and one to take with you for your session. A bamboo charcoal wrap is provided which helps you draw out toxins and allow clients to be comfortable. Once the 30 to 45 minute session is complete a shower is available to rinse sweat and toxins away. It is an amazing way to decrease pain, enjoy relaxation or meditation time, detoxifying and improve cardiovascular health.
