At Denver Health, an unwavering commitment to patients and the community has been the driving force behind its success in providing top-notch medical care for more than a century and a half. Denver Health takes pride in being at the forefront of health care with leading-edge facilities and technology to deliver exceptional services to our patients.
Denver Health’s state-of-the-art Outpatient Medical Center, which opened in 2021, is an example of the commitment to being the future of modern healthcare systems. The seven-story Outpatient Medical Center centralizes more than 30 medical services under one 293,000-square-foot roof, in a convenient location with valet parking and an adjacent self-parking garage.
The Outpatient Medical Center greatly enhances Denver Health’s ability to provide convenient treatment for heart disease, cancer and diabetes, as well as providing services for orthopedics, dental and oral health, eye exams, physical therapy and so much more.
Also conveniently located at the Outpatient Medical Center—and less than 3 miles from the Cherry Creek neighborhood—is Denver Health’s Adult Urgent Care Center, known for its friendly staff and outstanding patient experience. The Adult Urgent Care Center is open from 7 a.m.-7 p.m. seven days a week, with no appointment needed and walk-ins welcome.
Health Care at the Highest Level
Denver Health is proud to be the only Level I trauma center in the City and County of Denver, treating thousands of trauma patients a year while receiving transfers from more than 80 regional hospitals from Colorado and neighboring states. Recognized by the federal Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality as a learning health system, Denver Health’s team of more than 1,500 providers and some 2,000 nurses provide the best care possible while educating the next generation of healthcare professionals. Denver Health’s reputation of excellence even draws visiting physicians from around the world who take turns spending months learning from our surgeons who are at the forefront of their respective fields.
Philanthropy Provides Impact Beyond Bedside
The nonprofit Denver Health Foundation is a testament to the generosity of grateful patients, philanthropists and community leaders. By connecting an individual’s personal mission with opportunities to bolster services and care across our health system, the Foundation ensures that essential healthcare services remain accessible to all, regardless of their financial means. This support guarantees continued access to primary and specialty care, providing a lifeline to those most in need in our community. Learn more at DenverHealthFoundation.org.
Care for All
Denver Health has been treating and healing the Denver community since 1860 before Colorado was a state. Denver Health has grown alongside the community – now seeing 1.2 million patient visits a year – to become a complete healthcare system that includes 10 Family Health Centers, 19 School-based Health Centers at Denver Public Schools, Denver Health Paramedics, the Public Health Insitute, the Rocky Mountain Poison and Drug Safety center and more. Denver Health cares for nearly 25% of Denver’s population annually and delivers one in three Denver-area babies each year. As Colorado’s primary safety-net institution, Denver Health has provided billions of dollars in uncompensated care, including $120 million last year.
Denver Health’s legacy always will be helping those with the highest needs at the moment they need care, while continuing to innovate and be a leader among health systems. Learn more at DenverHealth.org/welcome or call 720-905-3612 to schedule an appointment.
