Holiday Parties That Dazzle

Loch Aerie Mansion Staff Welcomes Gatherings Of Various Sizes And Occasions

Returning to special gatherings can be made even more unique when doing so in an enchanting venue dating to 1865:  Loch Aerie Mansion. Perched on a subtle plateau in historic Chester County, the tower of Loch Aerie Mansion soars over the Chester Valley as a monument to the Victorian Era. The stone façade of the Italianate Gothic Revival Mansion nestled in picturesque gardens stands as a testament to its visionary masters William Lockwood and architect Addison Hutton. Lovingly restored, Loch Aerie welcomes guests to celebrate among historical fortitude and architectural elegance, yet with modern amenities.

John Serock, owner of Serock Catering and exclusive caterer for Loch Aerie, says the mansion is an excellent hub for corporate events, holiday parties, galas, fundraisers and weddings. "Everyone should be making reservations as quickly as possible, due to pent-up demand for gathering locations. Many are using this winter wonderland spot for memorable weddings. We all truly enjoy creating stand-apart-from-other menus and events."

The first floor of the mansion allows for smaller sessions. The walnut entry and stairway are a stunning dramatic backdrop for wedding photos. The parlor's high ceilings and arched windows provide a dramatic setting for special occasions.

Part of the original mansion, the dining and billiard rooms are ideal for small weddings, cocktail receptions and corporate dinners. Two ready-room suites provide elegant, cozy places to prepare and relax before scheduled festivities begin. There also are many beautiful outdoor spaces there from which to choose. Some guests hold cocktail receptions or ceremonies in a tent or in the property's gardens. William Lockwood had daughters who lived in Loch Aerie until 1967. In 2018, the mansion's 150th anniversary was celebrated as a classic, timeless and elegant community landmark.
