Angelique from RooftopCocktails is at it again, sharing another delicious drink for us to try! When it comes to fall flavors we think of apple and pumpkin. Well, September through January is peak pear season, and I don't know about you but, I’ve had enough of the spiked apple ciders and pumpkin spice concoctions!
This Pear and Honey martini gives you the flavors of fall while maintaining a light freshness to deal with South Florida’s heat and humidity.
The pear vodka is the star of the show, that’s complemented by the citrus of fresh-squeezed lemon juice. The honey liqueur finishes this cocktail off with a warm richness, perfect for that fall-tasting craving.
Ingredients:
2oz Grey Goose Pear Vodka
.5oz Honey Liqueur
1oz Fresh Lemon Juice
1oz simple syrup
Instructions:
Combine all ingredients and shake over lots of ice for at least 15 seconds. (Key word, LOTS of ice!)
Note: the simple syrup can be omitted or reduced if you prefer a more spirit-forward taste.
