In 2005, the shop first opened its doors in Hadley - created by Emily and Bucky Sparkle - as a retail store, yoga studio, and healing arts center. In 2009, the shop transitioned to its famous location in the heart of Northampton. Here it flourished into a destination for spiritual healing and peace. In 2012, the current owners, Rosie Goldstein and Bud Neiswender, purchased the business to continue the vision of providing tools for people on a journey in spiritual practice.

A variety of crystals are showcased with their associated properties and uses, including common, rare, tumbled, and raw types. Sections are organized by gemstones, jewelry, books, candles, incense and more. The decor incorporates natural elements such as wood and stone creating a sense of earthiness. Soft lighting and calming music present a peaceful atmosphere where customers are greeted by friendly staff who can answer questions and provide guidance on selecting the right item.
