A home is a sanctuary, a place of comfort and enjoyment, as well as a reflection of one’s personal style. Jeremiah Young, Interior Designer and Principal of Kibler & Kirch, understands the importance of creating an interior environment that is both aesthetically pleasing and able to meet the demands of day-to-day life.
“We're really good at making homes richer, fuller, more beautiful, and more functional,” Jeremiah begins. “Beauty and function go hand-in-hand for us, as we help our clients navigate all the choices available to them.”
During any project, Jeremiah and his team consistently favor one design element over all else: timelessness. Clients who seek to invest in quality and take special care when making selections will feel at home in the hands of Kibler & Kirch. Jeremiah warns against the urge to chase after trends.
“I'm thinking long term and trying to help people make homes that stand the test of time,” he explains.
Possessing an innate capacity for creativity, Jeremiah feels fortunate to have found an outlet for expressing his talents. Although he earned his degree in English Literature, he spent countless years educating himself in the art of design.
“I'm so passionate about what I do,” he states. “It’s overwhelming how lucky I am to get to do what I love, be creative, solve problems, and work for some wonderful people…as far back as I can remember I was reading about design. It's not work when you have a well of creativity inside that has to come out. It's not hard to come to work when you have a fire in your belly for what you do.”
Founded in 1990, Kibler & Kirch developed a brand synonymous with sophistication and quality, as well as deep affection for Montana and the people who call this state home.
“I took over Kibler & Kirch about ten years ago from my mentor, Rosina Kastelitz,” says Jeremiah. “Not only was she an amazing interior designer, but she took care of people--first and foremost. I try to do that. I get the chance to carry on her tradition of designing with real attentiveness to the hearts of our clients.”
Jeremiah feels at peace in the knowledge he is doing what he loves, while helping others along the way.
“I really love the idea that I am making the world a more beautiful place each day,” he concludes. “People need beauty and inspiration in their homes.”
