F45 Training workouts are designed to unify the muscle groups of the body to help you move and feel stronger in all aspects of your life. Born in Australia, F45 Training merges three separate leading-edge fitness training styles into one 45-minute functional workout.

The F45 Athletics and Peak Performance Department is comprised of leading training professionals, athletes, and exercise scientists from around the world all dedicated to the research and development of F45 Training workouts. This department is tirelessly investigating current and emerging training concepts as well as tweaking and fine-tuning existing training regimens.

All workouts at F45 are developed through a “Stage and Gate” process. When a new workout is formulated, it is tested first in one studio. Then measurable results are documented and analyzed. Based on results, revisions are made and the new trial workout is tested again; this time in three studios. Following this final testing and revision period, the new and approved workout if then released to the entire F45 Training network. These new workouts are only launched once they’ve been meticulously honed and perfected by the F45 Athletics and Peak Performance Department.

Through this process of research, testing, and refinement, every F45 workout is groomed for excellence. And it shows. All participants we spoke with during our visits to the Laguna Niguel location were beaming with enthusiasm and gratitude. It’s obvious that the F45 Training has come up with a system that works. The program is science, technology, and community-based; and the result is a vitalizing and robust platform that continually, and effectively, challenges each participant—regardless of age, fitness level, or ability.

Functional Training is the engagement in exercises that mimic or recreate everyday movement. These typically involve the use of your full body and multiple muscle groups. This style of training builds and sculpts lean, functional muscle. Lifting, squatting, jumping, twisting, pulling, pushing, punching, kicking, rowing, biking – all of these movements.

Industry Leading Technology Workouts are fueled and organized by robust technology systems. TVs mounted on the front wall provide a station-by-station diagram for each workout. With the guidance and motivation of the F45 Trainers, this system is a visual tool for members as they measure performance and progress through the stations.
