Michael and D’Lynn Curcio are the dynamic team running CMS Roofing and giving back to The Midlands community. Both grew up as competitive athletes - Michael in soccer, D'Lynn in gymnastics - and credit those experiences for giving them the drive, work ethic and stamina necessary to build a successful company in such a competitive industry.

Michael grew up in the construction business but founded CMS Roofing only after enjoying a successful career with companies like IBM and Pepsi. In 1999, his contracting and educational background inspired him to start a reputable, technologically advanced company to provide residential and commercial roofing solutions. With more than 20 years of business experience, Michael brings innovative, cost-efficient solutions to the roofing industry.
D’Lynn is responsible for sales and customer support. You’ll find her handling all customer accounts and roofing estimates. Her attention to detail and knowledge of residential and commercial roofing help CMS Roofing maintain and deliver the best quality service.
In building CMS Roofing, Michael and D'Lynn have received a variety of certifications, including: Master Elite GAF Contractor (in both residential and commercial roofing), Duro-Last Installer (also recognized as a Master Contractor), BBB and HAAG Certified Inspector.
Residential and Commercial
CMS Roofing covers both residential and commercial needs. Roofing installations including shingles, flat roofs, and metal. They also have in-house metal fabrication capabilities, which allows them to address flashing and edging, gutters and gutter systems, metal repair and replacement, HVAC/mechanical systems, and custom industrial and architectural pieces.
In addition to roofing installations, CMS Roofing can help with roof repairs, especially cases of storm damage, roof leaks, shingle issues, and gutter concerns. Installations of siding (vinyl, Hardie, cedar), skylights, solar power vents, and seamless gutters are also part of the services they provide on a regular basis.
Community Impact
CMS Roofing and their roofing manufacturing partner, GAF, are dedicated to supporting the brave men and women who serve our country and community. Nationally, GAF believes “resilience is the foundation on which we will build thriving, sustainable communities of the future. GAF leverages our expertise, resources and products in support of the fundamental needs of resilient communities: Shelters, Families, and Workforces.” In local partnership, GAF and CMS Roofing will replace the roof of a local veteran, military, or first responder on an annual basis.
This program provides free roof replacements by apportioning the profits for every paid installation. CMS Roofing's goal is to replace a roof each year, with the timing to grow more frequently as future success allows. Customer referrals will help CMS Roofing reach this goal.

CMS Roofing is actively searching for a Veteran, Military (Retiree, Active or Guard), or First Responder (active or retired) living in or near Columbia, SC. The person selected will receive a free roof replacement using the GAF Timberline® HDZ™ architectural roof system, and it will be installed in late summer/early fall of 2022. The roof comes with a 5-year workmanship warranty and GAF's System Plus Warranty.
In order to be considered, entrants must send a HANDWRITTEN note explaining why the Veteran or First Responder should receive a free roof. Self-nominations and third-party nominations are both accepted. However, nominees are limited to one per person. Along with the letter, please include a photo of the exterior of the Veteran’s or First Responder’s house. Letter and photo must be postmarked by July 25, 2022 and mailed to the CMS Roofing corporate office:
