It’s the first Sunday in weeks where our calendar was pretty much empty. In the morning, we decided on heading up to Weston, Mo. No waking up early, no stressing, just heading over to what my husband and I call the town that looks like the movie The Goonies.
We’re always looking to expose our six kids to fun experiences, since they are our constant companions, and we love exploring Weston as a family.
When the leaves turn red and start to fall, and the world turns to apple cider donuts and pumpkin spice lattes, we headed to Weston Red Barn. It was the perfect pumpkin patch outing that went above and beyond our expectations.
We took a hayride to the pumpkin patch and picked out the perfect pumpkin, visited the animals, and shopped in their country store. It was such a treat. They had all sorts of homemade canned salsas, pumpkin spices and candles. Their hot apple cider will definitely be perfect on a cold fall day and they have the cutest tiny pumpkins that my house is now covered in.
Weston Red Barn Farm was the perfect family day trip destination, but it’s also a great place to go with friends.
