Pittsburgh Earth Day

Pittsburgh Earth Day joins forces with The Earth Day Global Network to celebrate the 50 Year Anniversary of Earth Day.

Get ready for the annual citywide celebration dedicated to educating, inspiring, and celebrating  sustainability. Over the years our region has transformed from the Steel City into a thriving home for green innovation. Pittsburgh Earth Day honors the collaboration of businesses, community organizations and green purveyors that are changing the landscape of our region.

FORBES Magazine along with other of our nation’s most respected media and institutions have recognized Pittsburgh as a “triumphant success” in green design and technology, and throughout the years, area residents have celebrated Earth Day in the towns and municipalities they call home. From the Pittsburgh Zoo to Ellwood City to Mt. Lebanon, our dedicated citizens have worked to promote the  healthier and more sustainable aspects of the communities we love. Earth Day has been powered by Pittsburghers, going back to the early 1970s.

Acrobatique Creative, working with the City of Pittsburgh and key partners, has developed an initiative open to all in the region who want to celebrate a resilient city and a more sustainable Pittsburgh.
