Pumpkin Bread

Fall Flavors with local Food Blogger

There is something about fall in New England that is breathtaking. The combination of stunning leaves, crisp weather, apple cider, bonfires, and pumpkin spice are a few of the reasons why autumn is my favorite season. Growing up, the treat I loved most was a pumpkin bread my grandmother made. Once I discovered my passion for cooking and baking, I created my own pumpkin bread and I am excited to share it with you. I hope you enjoy! Follow my blog on Instagram for more fall recipes, @hellofoodreviews.

- 1/2 tablespoon baking soda

- 1 tablespoon cinnamon

- Pinch of salt

- 1 cup granulated sugar

- 2 eggs

- 1 small can of 100% pure pumpkin puree

- 1 1/2 cups chocolate chips

DIRECTIONS:

- Preheat oven to 350'F.

- In a small bowl combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt.

- In a large bowl combine granulated sugar, milk, and eggs. Then, add the pumpkin puree.

- Slowly add the dry-flour mixture into the wet-egg mixture. Continue to stir until fully mixed. Once everything is combined together, stir in the chocolate chips.
