It takes time, commitment, and trust to raise capable, compassionate women with strong family bonds. Girls benefit socially and emotionally when they engage in community service projects and work with others toward a cause that is greater than themselves.

The National Charity League, Inc. (NCL) offers the perfect opportunity to support tomorrow’s young women. This multi-generational philanthropic organization of mothers and their daughters, grades 7-12, helps foster mother-daughter relationships as they work together to better their local communities. The Midlothian Chapter of the NCL, Inc. embodies their ongoing commitment to philanthropy, culture, and leadership.

“We are dedicated to providing our daughters with a developmental program that provides opportunities for each young woman to learn the joy of serving others, to grow aware of and respect a wide array of cultural traditions, to develop life skills, maturity, confidence and compassion, and to make friends while engaging in chapter activities in a safe, comfortable, and age-appropriate environment,” says Kristen Hébert, Midlothian Chapter President.

NCL, Inc., Midlothian Chapter helps build stronger communities through a wide array of volunteer opportunities. Kristen explains, “Working the food bank distributions, organizing book drives, and spreading kindness all support the larger efforts in our community.”
