As the largest luxury train operator across the globe, Rocky Mountaineer train journeys are consistently named among the best travel experiences in the world. This iconic Canadian train experience unites the glamour of world-class rail travel with stunning scenery of the Pacific Northwest and Western Canada, which routinely leaves travelers breathless.

And, Rocky Mountaineer employees are celebrating the company's 30th anniversary during 2020, so are offering special packages and amenities.

As the train traverses the Canadian Rockies, weaving alongside steep canyons and through lush forests, guests enjoy first-class comfort with what the company describes as impeccable service and gourmet meals, paired with award-winning wines from British Columbia.

Four new Rockies' destinations were added during 2019. Canada is filled with dramatic landscapes of tangled forests, soaring mountain peaks, sparkling glaciers, and wildlife roaming free in their natural habitat; however, this train, with its custom-built glass-domed railcars enables full scenic views at every angle, allowing passengers to soak up the views from rushing rivers to eagles soaring, all from the comfort of their seats.

There's also a selection of all-daylight routes that can be combined with Alaska cruises.

Seeing the night sky light up Canada's rugged peaks with the glow of a million twinkling stars is quite a treat, as well. Jasper, Alberta, is home to one of the world’s largest dark sky preserves, an area that restricts artificial light pollution to maximize astronomy viewing. A popular destination on Rocky Mountaineer journeys, Jasper offers several opportunities for travelers to indulge in stargazing on a level nearly impossible to find elsewhere in Canada. A bonus is that the region also is one of the best for viewing the hauntingly beautiful Northern Lights. While overnighting in Jasper, Rocky Mountaineer guests can stay at the Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge.

Simply put, Rocky Mountaineer offers a front-row seat to vast landscapes and untouched natural beauty. For questions & travel package options, visit RockyMountaineer.com, 877.460.3200 or Call Dan & Faith at Cruise Planners, 803-908-7766, dnftravel.com
