Need a side dish recipe for that family barbecue this fall? How about an idea for the next potluck? Well, look no further! Friends at Taziki's Mediterranean Cafe have shared just how easy it is to make a tasty Greek salad!

Taziki's embraces the "Mediterranean Lifestyle," which emphasizes:

  • Eating primarily plant-based foods

  • Replacing butter with healthy fats such as olive oil and canola oil

  • Using herbs and spices instead of salt to flavor foods

  • Limiting red meat to no more than a few times a month

  • Eating fish and poultry at least twice a week

  • Enjoying meals with family and friends

  • Drinking red wine in moderation (optional)

  • Getting plenty of exercise

Customers say it's one of the few places that diners can "kind of mix health and good taste." Great food, in the right setting, prepared and served by people with the right mindset, can be the catalyst for a deeper, richer, more meaningful happiness.

And, while the fall weather is wonderful, take advantage of sitting outside on the restaurant's patio.
