Shop Across Texas the ultimate media resource on shopping in the Lone Star State has yet again done its annual narrowing down of competition. The list of the amazing stores in town showcases the best-of-the-best in multiple categories across 42 cities in the state. Pearland’s flourishing shopping scene has 8 stores that have been awarded top status.

The coveted list is created from the site's followers who take part in a 6-week survey voting for their top spots across our state. Votes were tallied and our hometown winners included Pearland Town Center, BLCK Market, Mainstream Boutique, JenniBelle Boutique, Brooke’s Boutique, Queen Bling Boutique, Urban Eve, and the 20-year-old staple BrowsAroun’ Antiques which was selected for the statewide category in Best Antiques.

ShopAcrossTexas.com media outlet promotes Texas’ independent retailers in a way that is crucial for the tourism industry. With lockdowns and gas prices awry, travel and local businesses have gone through many challenges and not all positive.

Independent retailers have the ability to pay more attention to what their fellow neighbors want and aim to provide it in a more personal form that many large retailers do not. Waiting around for a small business Saturday is a waste when there are 7 days you can help support. Pearland is “pear”-fect when in search of evening attire, a new pair of boots, or even a vintage piece to add a bit of je ne sais quoi to an ensemble.

Holidays will creep up on a person, so gather your friends or go at it alone to find family members or yourself distinct pieces that are not the mundane cookie cutter items. Remember while out, indulge in the towns thriving culinary scene as well while checking out the awardees and other local hot spots. I promise you will not go hungry, or home empty-handed.
