Now more than ever it’s important to support our communities’ small businesses, and what better way to celebrate local entrepreneurs than with a party. The Social Cocktail Co. is a mobile tap trailer located in the North Hills of Pittsburgh and is perfect for an endless variety of events.
Owner Sarah Dickinson wanted to bring something new and unique to weddings and events in Pittsburgh. As Sarah says, “Any excuse is the perfect excuse to throw a party.” But Sarah does more than host one-of-a-kind gatherings. With more than 10 years of event planning and marketing experience, she owns a full-service social media marketing agency, Marketing Sociale assisting local businesses with all of their social media marketing needs. Sarah also works closely with the Pro Football Alumni & Huddle Up for Kids Foundation as their VP of Marketing & Communications. In 2019 they raised just shy of half a million dollars for the surrounding Pittsburgh community.
The trailer itself was built from a retired horse trailer and comes equipped with two brass tap towers capable of serving four different kegs at any one time, a live wood edge bar, and Edison bulb sconces for a perfect ambiance and rustic elegance. Betty, as she has named the vintage horse trailer turned mobile tap trailer, is a great way to enhance and glamorize weddings, corporate events, rehearsal dinners, birthday parties, baby showers, backyard BBQs and more.
It’s been quite a journey for Sarah. From picking up a rusty old horse trailer in farm country all the way to that first cool, crisp pour. As with any project, there are moments of laughs, creative genius, obstacles to overcome (such as almost blowing out an eardrum while connecting the first CO2 tank), and ultimately the excitement of booking that first gig. Since officially launching August 2019, Sarah has enhanced many events providing guests with the opportunity to truly “Sip In Style”.

Grapefruit and Rosemary Sparkling Seltzer
Fizzy bubbles, summer, and barbecue. This is the perfect fizzy drink. Featuring grapefruit vodka, hard seltzer (on tap of course) and a fresh garnish of grapefruit and rosemary for a festive presentation.
1 1/2 oz. grapefruit vodka
2 1/2 oz. hard seltzer
slice of grapefruit
rosemary twig
Easy Beer Margaritas
Sweet & tart with the classic salty rim, you’ll make these super simple Beergaritas again and again! Mix equal parts beer, tequila and defrosted frozen limeade in a pitcher. Pour mixture into ice-filled glasses.
6 ounces frozen limeade concentrate
6 ounces beer, light, lager type preferred
6 ounces tequila Lime slices, to garnish
Margarita salt, for glass rims, optional
