The Mayton Inn, which opened its doors in 2016, is downtown Cary’s first boutique hotel. Named after former Cary Mayor Waverly Mayton, the hotel, reminiscent of a Georgian-style mansion, has 44 guest rooms and one private cottage—all of which have their own unique character and feel. From classic to art deco, each room invites guests to kick back, relax and unwind.
The Verandah at the Mayton Inn, the hotel’s onsite restaurant, is an extension of owners Colin and Deanna Crossman’s community-driven mindset and offers the best in Southern contemporary casual fare. The restaurant offers breakfast, lunch, dinner and weekend brunch. Customer favorites include classic Southern dishes like chicken and waffles, shrimp and grits, and even a sweet-tea-brined pork chop.
