Tina Enyart, founder and senior design consultant of Sweet T Flowers, grew up around flowers and spending time with her mother and grandmother who were both passionate about horticulture. An infrastructure engineer in her previous career, Tina opened Sweet T Flowers in 2014 as a fun, new creative outlet knowing she would enjoy working with flowers.
As a full-service florist, Sweet T Flowers serves all occasions and offers delivery all over the Charlotte area. On holidays such as Valentine’s Day, Tina encourages customers to think outside the box when it comes to flower arrangements. “The majority of our customers for Valentine's Day simply don't know what to order. So, I think they just go back to what they know and order a dozen red roses,” she explains. “However, we encourage customers to allow us to do a designer's choice because then they are guaranteed to get custom made, unique, and beautiful arrangements.”
“We're one of the rare florists who buy from local farmers,” she adds. “So, give us a color palette and price range and we will make you something wonderful. This allows us to be creative and use what is in season from the farms. Plus, it gives the recipients something completely custom and unique.”
Tina also encourages customers to buy directly from a local brick and mortar florist instead of a third-party wire service to maximize value for money spent and ensure a local, personal touch.
As a certified meeting planner, Tina assists in all aspects of the event planning process and specializes in weddings and events, both private and corporate. “I love the challenges special events provide,” she says. “Everybody in the shop knows I am the girl for mechanics, and I like exploring how can we hang something from the ceiling and how to make things like that work.”
