What’s the Taste of Lake Murray all about?
Presented by Lexington Medical Center, Taste of Lake Murray is an annual community event. Monies raised at the event support the annual July 4th fireworks celebration on Lake Murray, scheduled for Saturday, July 2, 2022. Many families look forward to Lake Murray’s annual July 4th celebration and without the money raised at this event, the fireworks wouldn’t take place.
Sample food and beverages from vendors…
If you are new to the area or haven’t attended the annual Taste of Lake Murray … you’ll want to after seeing the variety of food and beverages. This event is unique because in one venue you can sample signature dishes from restaurants around the region. Each restaurant provides attendees with a small plate of their signature dish and, of course, there are plenty of beverages. The participating vendors include Alodia’s Cucina Italiana, Bistro on the Boulevard, Blue Marlin, Columbo’s, Doko Smoke BBQ, 8th Wonder Cuisine, Hollow Creek Distillery, O’Hara’s Bakery Café, O’Hara’s Public House, RF’s Grill, RF’s Food Truck, Moe’s and more to come.
Be entertained…
Entertainment will be provided by The Finesse Band, Cody Webb and Spencer Rush.
The Finesse Band includes some of the very best musicians in the Carolinas and will keep you on the dance floor with a blend of Motown, R&B, and Soul material. This band has an incredible stage presence, radiating energy through every song from start to finish. Come see them live!
Country Music star, Cody Webb, will also perform at this year’s Taste. Cody, a singer, songwriter and musician from Saluda County, has played in hundreds of venues across the country, earning thousands of fans with his keen vocals and distinctive guitar skills. Cody’s hit single “She’s Carolina,” has received over one million views on Facebook, as well as 100k+ streams and growing.
Spencer Rush will also hit the stage. He’s a solo guitarist and vocalist from South Carolina that has been playing music professionally for 15 years. He has played all over and been on tour with Edwin McCain, Vertical Horizon and Hootie &the Blowfish.

Each year at the Taste of Lake Murray, the Capital City / Lake Murray Country staff and volunteers create a silent auction filled with items that you won’t be able to resist … travel related items, outings and experiences, food, gift cards, Lake Murray items and more.
