The majestic estate at 915 S. Lumina Ave. sits on the very southern tip of Wrightsville Beach and boasts unobstructed ocean views from the Crystal Pier to Masonboro Island. Residents and their guests can take in breathtaking sunsets of the sound-front waters in a coastal-inspired open floor plan.

This home offers expansive outdoor living areas, stunning Italian white Carrara marble, solid American walnut interior doors and trim, and even copper gutters and a standing seam copper roof. Meticulously designed by owners Daniel and Marta Cohen, no detail has been overlooked. Fully fenced and gated, this one-of-a-kind property offers complete privacy allowing its residents to sit back, unwind and take in the beautiful views of the Carolina coast.

The Great Room

Designed to entertain, the double opening Anderson doors on the east and north decks facilitate foot traffic to both decks, as well as the outdoor 12-seat Brazilian teak dining table. Bi-fold pass-through windows at both the bar and kitchen allow for open-air service and mingling. The room features 8-inch crown molding, baseboards and ceiling beams throughout—all made of solid American walnut, including the tavern-style bar which is equipped with a kegerator, commercial ice maker, bar fridge, glass-washer and 400-bottle wine room. The wood-burning, propane-assisted fireplace is surrounded by Italian white Carrara marble slabs with a Cape Fear Riverwood floating mantle.

The Dining Room

The dining room offers huge windows capturing westerly sunsets over the Masonboro Channel and Island to the south. The 12th-century Italian hand-carved wooden columns frame the 12-seat mahogany dining room table, surrounded by leather Dakota Jackson chairs. An antique 90-degree buffet adorns the far corner, and a 19th-century rounded glass breakfront displays hand-painted art deco fish plates. The dining room walls and ceiling are a hand-painted mural accented with 18 karat gold leaf by local artist Erin Kornegay. She depicts flowing tree leaves populated with bluebirds, cardinals, hummingbirds, finches, butterflies and ladybugs that present a peaceful setting. Italian white Carrara marble tiles soften the entire foyer and dining room floor.

Outdoor Living

Cuddle up by the fire, and enjoy evening sunsets in one of the many expansive outdoor living areas. All of the decks have comfortable seating and offer 360-degree ocean and waterway views. The home features an outdoor large-screen television and weatherproof audio speakers that make for great music listening and sports watching. And why cook inside? This home comes equipped with its own outdoor kitchen featuring a 48-inch grilling and searing station and tabletop steamer just waiting for your summertime Low-Country boils.

The Master

Wake up to coastal views and morning sunrises in the second-floor master bedroom featuring vaulted ceilings and exposed walnut beams. The soft neutral colors, crystal chandelier, plush wool carpet and spectacular elevated views of the North Atlantic Ocean and Masonboro Inlet Jetty are mesmerizing. The master bath's air-infused tub offers an unobstructed ocean view from its ideal angle perched next to the window.

The View

Designed to take full advantage of spectacular waterfront views and ocean breezes, this home features multiple ipe decks and covered porches with an outdoor kitchen; two gas fire pits; a putting green; and an oceanfront, six-person hot tub.
