DAY 1: Let's explore Aspen and Snowmass Village! The two towns are renowned as a haven for celebrities, skiers and culture vultures, so you will need to hit the ground running. Take a stroll through downtown Aspen to check out all the stores and eateries, or just sit on a bench and people-watch with an ice cream cone from Paradise Bakery.
Next, let out your inner cowgirl or cowboy with all the Western wear that you’ll need to dress-the-part in Aspen. From belts to cowboy boots and hats, Kemo Sabe is a favorite to shop for western attire.

If you have a few hours to see the natural beauty of the Rocky Mountains, the Maroon Bells is one of the most photographed places in Colorado, and fall is the best time to visit. (Advanced reservations needed to park/enter). The twin peaks – which tower at 14,000 feet high – change colors with the seasons and reflect over Maroon Lake.
