"After our one night stopover in Lucerne, we headed out for a full travel day, which included 5 hours in the minibus and an hour train ride to our final destination, Vernazza, Italy. I have to say that renting a car and doing a little driving was such a fun adventure. You get to see things that you would never see otherwise. One of the highlights of the trip for me was driving through the Swiss Alps, and specifically through the St. Gotthard Pass. We hit just shy of 7,000 feet and the views were absolutely unforgettable." —Andrea Larson
"We began in Germany, made it to Switzerland, drove through the Swiss Alps, dropped the car in Pisa, and took a train from Monterosso to Vernazza. This place/town is like nothing I have ever seen before. Vernazza is basically one street of shops and restaurants, loaded with culture and everything you expect small town Italy to be. Loads of color, cobblestone streets, laundry hanging out of every window, and breath taking views of the Mediterranean. Vernazza is one of the quaintest places I have ever seen." —Andrea Larson
"For the last few years, I sat on the sidelines watching Tina carve out this new Italian life for herself. I drooled over her foodie Instagram account on a regular basis; warning, it will give you hunger pains. We had been in contact a bit about entrepreneur and website stuff, but the day had finally come when I could carve out some time in my schedule to go visit her on the Amalfi Coast and cook again!" —Sherry Ott
"Tina, Claudio, and their son Leo took me to Naples to learn more about the food scene in this bustling and often overlooked city! I was specifically interested in the pizza culture in Naples, but I learned that there is much more food there that shouldn’t be overlooked! We walked and ate our way all over Naples!" —Sherry Ott
