An extensive inventory of outdoor patio furniture and accessories offered by Ultimate Patios enables customers to turn their yards into stylish, comfortable living areas.
Ultimate Patios has been in business since 2006; owner Kevin Aylward has happily provided a full range of outdoor pieces, including dining sets, chat seating, chaise lounge chairs, patio umbrellas and awnings. He says customers can buy the items in stock, or order custom furniture to match their specific needs in cast aluminum, wicker and other materials. Ultimate Patios offers a Sunbrella fabric kiosk with more than 450 fabrics displayed. Fabrics can be purchased by the yard for indoor or outdoor needs. Kevin says most fabrics are shipped within days of order placement.
The Ultimate Patios team is happy to provide tips, as well. For example, placement of outdoor wicker furniture is of paramount importance if the goal is to increase its lifespan. "Poolside furniture is prone to chlorine buildup, so it requires more cleaning and attention. Place your furniture away from barbeques, firepits and outdoor ovens, as these can cause heat spots to appear on your wicker items," says Kevin.
Natural wicker should be vacuumed regularly; brush attachments help remove dust and dirt from nooks and crevices. Kevin says wicker furniture can be spot cleaned by using a solution of mild dish detergent and warm water. "A sponge or an old toothbrush is perfect for lifting the dirt without damaging the material. After the dirt has been lifted, you should rinse over the furniture with a damp sponge or rag. Ensure that you let the material dry thoroughly, as failing to do so can result in the formation of mildew," he adds.
If there are a lot of trees in your garden or yard, Kevin says to be wary of tree sap and mulch staining, which can damage furniture. Also, he encourages being aware that pets can claw and chew at wicker furniture.
"Keep your wicker furniture covered when its not in use and avoid leaving it out in direct sunlight for prolonged periods. This helps to prevent fading and mold. Although outdoor furniture is designed to resist the elements, nature can cause deterioration of natural materials over time," Kevin reminds.
He adds that they sell Solair retractable awnings to keep patios comfortable, livable and protected. They have two awnings on display at their outdoor furniture store and trained salespeople to answer all questions. "Our awnings typically come with a 10-year limited warranty to ensure it suits your lifestyle," he says.
Kevin says they also carry all of the high-end brands of fire pits, so "customers can feel luxurious sitting by the fire, whether it’s July or January."
