At Arlington Lifestyle, we really do believe that fashion is art. That's why we could not resist including fashion it in our Arts + Makers issue! My love affair with fashion began a long time ago. It started in my mother's closet. As a young girl, I would try on her things; especially her fabulous shoes. I walked around the house in my mom's heels which were several sizes too big. I loved it (she hated it at the time)! My mother was taught to sew by her mom and when she started having daughters of her own, she made some of our clothes as well. She is still a great seamstress.
