Celebs Love it Too

A Little His-story, Her-story
Established in 1985, Thomas Hunn Jewelers is the oldest jewelry shop in downtown Grand Junction, Colorado. On June 24, 1991, Thomas’ daughter, Niki, joined the company as a Master Bench Jeweler and Gemological Institute of America (GIA) graduate.

After 45 years as a master jeweler, Thomas Hunn retired on April 1, 2014, making Niki president of Thomas Hunn Jewelers. Before too long, Niki’s son, Nick, joined the company after graduating from high school in May of 2014. Keeping the family tradition alive and strong, Nick is currently an apprentice bench jeweler and is working toward his graduate gemologist degree.

With over 30 years of experience and a third generation working at the company, the plan is for Thomas Hunn Jewelers to be around for years to come. As the family moves this business into the future, they maintain the family tradition of "quality jewelry at competitive prices."

Pictured here with Brian Kelley of the country music sensation, Florida Georgia Line, Niki and Nick take a moment to enjoy one of many friendships they form with their wide array of customers from far and near. Ask their customers about the service and care they receive, or better yet experience it for yourself and you'll find their genuine caring for the people who trust them with some of their most meaningful purchases in life. When it comes time for an emblem of a lifetime commitment, wedding sets are among the most revered purchases ever made. Special gifts for other occasions like Valentine's Day, wedding anniversaries, a graduation, celebrating a new baby, first career job, and countless other reasons are abundant.

Need something special designed or an heirloom made over? The Florida tarpon pendant hanging from Brian Kelley's neck is a splendid example of what can be achieved with a little imagination and the skills of true professionals.

Even if you bought a ring, brooch, pendant, earrings, watch or necklace somewhere else, you'll always find the guidance offered, the expertise, and the friendly service second-to-none. Sometimes jewelry needs a good but gentle cleaning, sometimes the wear and tear of decades can leave a favorite piece needing some specialized attention. Mechanical watches have moving parts that wear out over time. Batteries run down in electric watches. When these things happen, it's good to have a friend with the know-how to set things right. Have you ever been dismissed by a merchant in any field of business when looking for caring service for something you own simply because you "didn't buy it here?"

The team at Thomas Hunn Jewelers finds great fulfillment in serving friends and neighbors and making new ones along the way, every day. Their family hopes to get to know you in the same way.
