Three Crosses Distilling Co. grew out of a passion for specialty crafted spirits and a mindset for service by husband-and-wife duo, John and Michelle Davenport. They opened their distillery and tasting room in August of 2018 with a focus on supporting their community. John and Michelle have created a Cheers like atmosphere where faith and friendship are evident throughout their small family business. “Family is an important part of Three Crosses,” says Michelle. “…from having our family working in the business, to our employees who we feel are family, to our regulars who have become family to us.”

They recently expanded to include The Table Restaurant and welcomed Tara Powers into their family as Executive Chef and Kitchen Manager. Staff and customers, alike, are excited to now be able to order delicious food from the seasonally changing menu to go along with their small-batch spirits and specialty cocktails. Tara’s emphasis on locally sourced ingredients and creative flavor combinations has made her the perfect addition to Three Crosses. She has been using their award-winning spirits for years in her always popular desserts at her southern-style bakery, Vanilla and Bourbon. Let your server know if you have food allergies or other dietary needs. The kitchen is very knowledgeable and provides a variety of options, including gluten free desserts! The Table’s two outdoor spaces offer diners a comfortable, relaxing environment to host an event or simply enjoy the beautiful summer weather.

Local businesses and groups are invited to participate in Fundraiser Thursdays at Three Crosses. A portion of all cocktails, tasting, and appetizer sales go to support the fundraiser’s chosen charity or organization. Neil Stout, Esq. recently selected Three Crosses as the venue for his Powhatan Lacrosse fundraiser, a k-8th grade youth lacrosse organization. “I knew that John and Michelle would leap at the chance to help us. They are always glad to help a good cause,” said Neil. “They are the best corporate citizens you could imagine.”
