Everybody Clean Up

Students Lead The Way

A group of six Chattahoochee High School students (Lindsay Morris, Meghana Pothukuchi, Anastasiya Viryaskina, Natasha Mohanty, Mallika Kenkare, and Siri Kanakala) hosted a trash cleanup event on Taylor Road recently.

The project was completed as part of their participation in Student Leadership Johns Creek, a two-year leadership program in which students organize a community service project during their first year.

The students worked with Taylor Road Junior Beta to get volunteers, and a group of 21 Taylor Road students worked together to clean up about 25 bags of trash from Taylor Road, Taylor Road Middle School, and Chattahoochee High School.

The group hopes that their project will inspire others to work to keep Johns Creek clean and protect the environment, and they want to thank Taylor Road Jr. Beta, Ms. Murphy, and Mr. Parker for all their help with the project.
