I’m Thankful For…

Hear some Augusta locals share what they’re thankful for

During this time of year, we like to sit back and reflect on the many blessings that have been brought to us. We at City Lifestyle Augusta, are thankful for our community and our readers! I would like to encourage you to also take a minute to pause and reflect on what you are thankful for this year. We are blessed each day with a place to call home, warm meals, and wonderful family and friends to share it with.

We have asked a few locals what they are thankful for this year. Hear from Barclay Bishop, Scott Russell, and Dr. Brad Whitt as they share what they are thankful for this year.

Scott Russell

”It has been an amazing year with so much to be thankful for.  I am thankful for all the new growth in our town(especially new restaurants) but most of all I'm thankful to be able to call Augusta home,” says Scott Russell, 6 Bites In.

Dr. Brad Whitt

"My pastor once told me that “a thinking Christian is a thankful Christian.” That’s why as I think about all of God’s blessings in this season I’m thankful for salvation, my wife and children, good health, and an encouraging church family. I pray I never take any of these for granted,” says Dr. Brad Whitt, Senior Pastor, Abilene Baptist Church

Barclay Bishop

"I'm continuously grateful for God's continued provision in my life, family, friends and community support. However, this year, I'm even more thankful for my husband George and for the birth of our miracle baby, Cole," says Barclay Bishop, Anchor, Good Morning Augusta.
