Three of Austin’s favorite dining destinations have recently debuted something new. Trudy’s, the Austin-based restaurant that serves up authentic Tex-Mex, recently unveiled new branding, a new logo, freshened up design and announced the Women of Trudy’s program, recognizing local women, from nurses to welders, and honoring them with a portrait wall. The Well, beloved for their menu that proves eating healthy can be fun (mezcal spike matcha anyone?) rolled out a new dinner menu with selection to bring smiles to guests whether meat-eaters or vegan and gluten-free. Meanwhile, The Fareground, Austin’s first food hall, reopened last month featuring original Fareground favorites TLV and Henbit as well as three new restaurants – Austin Rotisserie, Little Wu, and Taco Pegaso and the introduction of The Market, a specialty retail marketplace .
The Well
Their smoothies have made The Well a go-to destination for any health-conscious person and with the addition of a dinner menu of plant-forward entrées (and more!) as well as better-for-you cocktails, it’s sure to be packed morning to night.
The Fareground
For the group who can’t agree on one place, the Fareground’s six delicious choices promise something for everyone. They also recently introduced The Market, stocked with the work of Austin-based artisans and vendors. It features a locally curated flower market by House of Margot Blair and local brands such as Austin Jam, Tiny House Coffee Roasters, Texas Hill Country Olive Oil, Tea Sip, Mixy Craft Mixology and more.
Trudy’s
Popular since it opened in 1977, Trudy’s recently underwent a rebranding at its three locations and announced their inaugural ‘Women of Trudy’s’ program honoring local ladies deserving of the spotlight, but has retained the fun fiesta atmosphere and fan-favorite dishes.
