A Punch for Every Occasion

For Family Game Night

Hot Cocoa Punch

Serves 8

  • 1 cup cocoa
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 2 quarts milk
  • 2 tablespoons vanilla extract
  • 1 cup smooth peanut butter
  • 1 cup heavy cream, whipped
  • Optional snowman topping (marshmallows, pretzel sticks, candy corn and chocolate syrup)


In large saucepan, mix cocoa and sugar. Gradually beat in milk. Heat, while stirring, until mixture starts to boil. Remove from heat, beat in vanilla and peanut butter. Serve at once. Top each serving with whipped cream or create a marshmallow snowman. 


For Christmas Eve

Peppermint Eggnog Punch

  • 2 quarts peppermint ice cream, softened
  • 2 quarts eggnog
  • 1 to 2 cups ginger ale, chilled


Combine ice cream and eggnog in a large punch bowl. Pour desired amount of ginger ale over top and stir until combined. Garnish with crushed peppermint or peppermint stick. 


For the Office Party

Cranberry Citrus Punch

  • 12 ounces cranberry juice
  • 3 cups gin or vodka
  • 8 ounces Ginger Liqueur
  • 4 ounces simple syrup
  • 2 ounces fresh lemon juice
  • 2 cups club soda or sparkling wine
  • Cranberries, lemon or lime slices, orange slices, and rosemary for garnish


Combine gin or vodka, cranberry juice, ginger liqueur, simple syrup and lemon juice into a punch bowl filled with ice. Add club soda or sparkling wine. Garnish with fruit and rosemary.
