The Mazda CX-50 is the first Mazda to offer both a luxury and outdoor experience. While its interior reflects quality and technology, the CX-50 is designed with off-road capability in mind.

This 2023 SUV has four different drive modes—normal, sport, off-road and towing—to optimize the car’s responsiveness and traction. Along with all-wheel drive and the available turbo engine, these modes help match the terrain that the Mazda traverses. It also has a 3,500-pound towing capacity with up to 256 horsepower.

Features like high-strength roof rails and extensive cargo space, plus add-on options, make the Mazda CX-50 the perfect car for the outdoors.

“It even can have a rooftop tent attached, so you can mix the luxury with the wild, just as the car was designed,” says PT Ertl, director of marketing and technology at Sill-TerHar Motors.

As for the outside of the Mazda CX-50, its reflective curves are designed to capture the natural setting around it, along with the moonroof that lets you take it all in for yourself.

“The panoramic moonroof is a first for Mazda and gives a great view in the mountains,” PT says. The CX-50 comes in Zircon Sand Metallic for an exterior color, and Terracotta leather as an interior option, both inspired by the color of earth’s clay.

Halfway through December, Sill-TerHar Motors had sold more than 20 CX-50 units. PT says, “It's hard to keep in stock.”
