Kids at Play
Summer is soon coming to an end and school will be back in session. What better way to say good-bye to the warm summer months than to soak up the outdoors with the range of parks and playgrounds in the city, indoor and outdoor games for children to play, and a variety of local outdoor recreation experiences that will bring joy to all.
At Fairgrounds Park, find easy access into the Big Thompson River for wading and fishing. While most known for trout, many other varieties of fish call the river home as well.
The trails at the Devil's Backbone are even more fun with your pup. Plus, the rocks behind the keyhole provide some nice shade and a great resting spot for water, snacks and “attaboys.”
